Our stand in the Glamorgan Hall at the Royal Welsh Show on 18 to 21 July 2016 to promote Meirionnydd and beekeeping to the public was a great success.

We showed a continuous bilingual film on how our beekeepers work with their bees and manage their colonies in some of the most challenging, rewarding and stunning locations in Meirionnydd.

We also engaged children with a specially designed interactive ‘beehive’ resulting in over 300 children through the hive (not all at once!) over the 4 days of the show.

Many thanks to our 19 stewards who made the event such a success.

We are most grateful to our sponsors for helping to fund our stand. They include:

Snowdonia National Park Authority and Plas Tan y Bwlch, Magnox, C. Wynne Jones, Huws Gray, Wynnstay, BeeCraft, and members of Meirionnydd Beekeepers.
